Help shape the future of Touch in Scotland

Touch is a fast, non-contact sport for every age and ability, and it’s growing across Scotland. Junior and social Touch is mostly played in mixed teams, and competitive Touch has men’s, women’s and mixed divisions. Partner with us to help more girls, juniors and communities play, and to bring international Touch to Scotland.

The difference your support makes

Every partnership goes into the game: more sessions, more players, more coaches and referees.

Where we’re going

Scottish Touch is rebuilding for growth. Over the next few years we want Touch to be on offer in every region of Scotland, for girls and boys, juniors and adults, with young people coaching and refereeing the game.

More places to play

New clubs and sessions in every region.

Girls in every club

Girls’ squads alongside every junior section, so girls have a route into competitive Touch.

A young workforce

Young people trained as Young Leaders, coaches and referees.

Become our principal partner

We’re looking for one organisation to stand alongside Scottish Touch as our principal partner: a long-term partnership at the heart of the sport’s growth in Scotland.

What it can include

A multi-year partnership, shaped around your organisation’s goals.

Programmes you can support

Prefer to focus on one cause? Support a programme and see exactly what it delivers.

Girls in Touch

The need: More girls than ever are coming to mixed junior sessions, but there is no route yet into girls’ competitive and representative Touch.

Your support funds: coaching, venue hire and kit to form and run girls’ squads, the next step on the pathway after mixed junior Touch.

We’ll measure: girls playing regularly, squads formed.

Touch in Schools & Communities

The need: Touch is played in five regions; many communities, schools and universities have never tried it.

Your support funds: Taste of Touch sessions and support to start new clubs.

We’ll measure: sessions run, new players, new clubs.

For example

A season of sessions at a new club, for up to 64 children.

Coaches & Referees

The need: The sport can only grow as fast as the people who coach and referee it.

Your support funds: the new online learning platform and coach and referee courses.

We’ll measure: people trained and qualified.

For example

A young lead coach for a season.

Partner an event

From schools taking their first steps in Touch to international teams in Stirling.

Schools · Edinburgh · Friday 4 June 2027

Scottish All Schools Touch Festival

Boys’ and girls’ school teams from across Scotland compete at under-12 and under-14 level, with free entry so cost never decides who takes part. Put your name on the schools competition, and back the work that keeps Touch going in schools afterwards: Young Leaders, and new club sessions near the schools that take part.

What support looks like

Here’s what that support looks like on the ground.

Pentland Touch: started in April, 28 juniors by autumn

Pentland Touch only started in April 2026. Its summer sessions drew even more children than the autumn, and over seven autumn sessions it welcomed 28 children. Girls made up 78% of autumn attendances, and the club is now looking at starting a girls’ team to give those players a route into competitive Touch. This is the kind of growth partners help us make happen across Scotland.
